is a well-known commodity in the class of 2027, and is the predicted QB1 for Huskies during the 2026 season. Touting a solid frame and boasting a bunch of junior tape, I’m excited to see what he can produce given a full sample size on varsity this fall. On his tape from the previous season, Kirchner showcased a handful of admirable qualities. He’s calm in a collapsing pocket and can bounce around until he can find an open receiver. He does a great job of getting the ball out before he can get sacked, and is able to make tough cross-body throws while on the run in desperate situations. His deep ball placement is also eye-catching. Kirchner throws a fantastic back-shoulder fade, laying the rock right into his receiver’s breadbasket. I’m eager to see how this tape translates to the varsity level during his senior season.

One of the few 2027 quarterbacks in attendance that caught my attention in his live reps, came from Andover’s

. He showed off a quicker release than I was expecting and was another one in the quarterback group that enlightened with his skillsets with his ball placement as I liked how quickly he could place the ball right in the pocket of his receivers as a 2027 quarterback that could line up throws on all three levels on Saturday. He is very likely to take over the reigns for the Huskies in 2026 taking over for St. Thomas commit Joseph Mapson, so I surely expect Jackson to rise his stock over these next coming months and is off to a good start at our Prep Redzone Minnesota Showcase.

, the heir apparent to the Huskies‘ QB1 spot with the graduation of Joe Mapson looming. Kirchner had both the PRZMN Spring Showcase’s college coaches and media in attendance, and the rising senior was locked in, focused, and pin-point accurate throughout the three parts of the Showcase. Mechanically sound, accurate to all three levels of the field, and was throwing with timing, Kirchner was one of the most consistent QBs in attendance, something you always are looking for with a QB over the course of a in-person body of work. This kid has a good arm and knows how to use it! Looks like the Huskies QB room is in good hands going into the fall.

One of my personal favorite prospects from the combine, Kirchner, really solidified himself as a legit 6A QB in my eyes after his performance on Saturday. He had some solid success regarding his measurables, showing off a 72.5″ wingspan, a 4.8 shuttle, and an 8′ broad jump, but he really stood out once he was able to uncork his arm. I’ve been familiar with his game for a while now, but I dare say he’s leveled up since I last saw him. Kirchner was easily one of the best QBs in attendance, hitting a variety of difficult deep balls and dropping dots into tightly contested windows downfield. He hit several razor-thin openings and had a faster release than I remember. Andover looks to have produced another solid signal caller.
