Busy offseason for Andover’s Luke Ketchum Luke Ketchum 6'4" | 275 lbs | OL/DL Andover | 2028 State MN ! This is now our fourth live and in-person exposure point, and yet again, Ketchum caught and held our attention. A front-of-the-line, seasoned-looking 6A OL who has been working his butt off in preparation for a potential opportunity and starting spot for the Huskies, Ketchum’s change of direction ability and foot speed were the best amongst the OL group in attendance. A big body who can overwhelm at the contact point, he’s got the makings to seriously assert himself in run and pass blocking situations against 6A DL.

The bulky Huskies‘ OL has added some serious size inbetween his sophomore and junior seasons, worked his butt off in the weight room and training circuiting, and has shown up and shown out at a variety of offseason stops such as the PRZMN Winter Showcase, LOS x TrenchMob 5v5 Tryouts, and LOS Big Dogs Camp, attended by [player_tooltip player_id=’1292716′ first=’Nate’ last=’Wahl’.

With some Andover OL heading off to college early next month, I’d be surprised if if he isn’t starting for the Huskies‘ OL in 2026, but as a sophomore last fall, he was a JV mauler paving the way for his tailbacks all season long. As an LT, he’s a bullish down blocker who is heavy handed and can bully non-varsity DL at the contact point. Ketchum always works to finish, can run DL out of the club, and shows off active hands that consistently work for ideal interior hand placement. He can gain depth and looks balanced in his pass set and can climb to the second level, breakdown in space, and corral second and third-level defenders impressively for his size and the fact that he’s playing JV. Plus, check out his lacrosse highlights if you want to see a big man who is light on his feet! Very impressive multi-sport ability for an offensive lineman.

Another name out of the Metro that popped out me in the 2028 class in the offensive trenches, was Andover’s Luke Ketchum Luke Ketchum 6'4" | 275 lbs | OL/DL Andover | 2028 State MN . The 6’3 265 pounder was a late bloomer via the live evals I got, but what I was able to see in those limited reps caught my attention quickly. He showed off great pad-level with his striking hands and he was one of my favorite 2028 offfensive linemen that is one that showed off how well he can finish. Surely one I’ll need to keep our eyes on in the coming years out of the NW Metro.

Luke Ketchum Luke Ketchum 6'4" | 275 lbs | OL/DL Andover | 2028 State MN doesn’t have much film currently, but as one of the biggest linemen for Andover heading into the 2025 season, Ketchum has a good shot of seeing some reps next season in the varsity lineup. Playing predominantly at Center, Ketchum showed plenty of promise, holding his own against bigger defenders, utilizing leverage well, and maintaining low pad level and solid balance in tight space. Ketchum is an intriguing wild-card prospect to keep watch for over the next few years, and as he continues to gain strength, Ketchum could become a big name on the trenches to watch for Andover.
