Jack Joyce Jack Joyce 6'5" | 210 lbs | K St. Thomas Aquinas | 2024 NJ was a prospect I remember seeing at the AVC Football Mega Camp back in the spring. A big, strapping, young man, as a junior Joyce registered touchbacks on 20/25 kicks and was 1/1 on onside recoveries. Unfortunately he does not have senior highlights available so his the last evaluation I wrote for him is the one I am going to stand by.

Another game, another perfect day for one of the state’s biggest kickers. Joyce was perfect in St. Thomas Aquinas’ 48-8 victory at Edison. In the game Joyce was 6 of 6 in PAT attempts and went 2 for 2 in field goal attempts. Of his two field goals, he nailed one from 40-yards out.

Joyce, a prominent kicker in the state, was a Mr. Perfect for St. Thomas Aquinas. As the Trojans leaned into Paul VI 42-7 during the Battle at the Beach, Joyce was a perfect 7 for 7 on PATs.

It is always a thrill for me to watch prospects I watched on film in person. Joyce was well worth the wait. Easily the biggest body amongst the specialists, Joyce had the big leg to match. Joyce had one of the best ranges of all the kickers, with the ability to hit a 50 yard field goal. Many of his kicks were on the money, however keep in mind this is an extremely long kick for a high school prospect – a kick many pros do not hit routinely. I expect Joyce to continue to develop, especially since the kicks he took on the day were done using college uprights.
