Giannini had a monster senior season just to cap off a stellar prep career at Eagle. He is a tackling machine and shows a high football IQ to play many positions along a defense. He can really do a lot and will be a player that has high upside at the next level.

Giannini is able to do a lot on the football field for the Mustangs. He can line up inside the box and be a big-time player, move to outside linebacker and play in space and then can line up at the edge position to rush the quarterback. He is a player that will have a big-time impact on this game.

The unquestioned leader of the Mustang defense, the senior linebacker can be seen all over the field making plays in the backfield and then covering in the back end. A quick trigger and ability to diagnose plays quickly is what really separates him from his teammates. Should be big time this week for the Mustangs and will be a top player on the scouting report.

Giannini is walking into his senior season a three-year starter for the Mustangs and it’s no surprise. The senior has elite vision and play recognition where he is able to diagnose plays quickly and then react. He is a sure tackler and playmaker in the run game with his ability to get tackles for loss.

Giannini has been included in our rankings for some time now, and is one of the top linebackers across Idaho as we head into the season. He checks in just outside the top 30 overall, and is a top 10 linebacker in this 2025 class. He is a very fluid second level player that breaks quickly to ball carriers, can provide a nice pass rush from various angles and is a quick processor that is also a big time hitter in the box with incredible instincts and takes good angles in the open field. He holds offers from Valley City State, Rocky Mountain College and Puget Sound and it would not be surprising if other schools came into the mix down the stretch as well.

Giannini has really seen his recruitment pickup in recent weeks, and picked up offers from Rocky Mountain and Puget Sound in the month of July alone. He is another top linebacker in the state and should be one of the best defenders across Idaho for the ’24 season. He is another prospect that should see many more opportunities come his way as he moves through his final year for Eagle.

Giannini has racked up two offers in recent weeks from College of Idaho and Carroll College. He has had a buys summer attending camps at Wyoming and Boise State with a few more left on the docket. One of the top linebackers in the state, he is a true tackle to tackle thumper with closing speed, pass rush abilities and is a sure tackler in the box. Look for the Eagle standout to be in that 80+ tackle range this Fall for what should be a very solid Eagle squad.

Giannini has had a very productive high school career thus far that includes all conference honors and is one of the top defenders on one of the best rosters in all of Idaho. He is very athletic for the inside backer position with fluid hips/movement abilities and is a true in the box banger that can take on bigger backs/blockers and plays with good violence and a downhill style of play.
He checks into our current rankings as one of the top linebackers in the state, and could see his ranking rise as we move toward updating in the coming weeks. Although not currently holding any offers, he should start to see his stock rise through his final prep season.

The rising Senior plays for one of the top teams in the state, and has plenty of varsity experience heading into the 2024 season. He can play both inside and outside linebacker, and is tremendous in coverage with natural instincts, and return abilities. Playing on the outside and coming off the edge, he is explosive off the ball, and shows a quick use of hands around the edge while able to bend around taller blockers, and plays with a relentless motor and closing speed when collapsing the pocket backside. He also shows he can sniff out screens/draws and takes good angles in the open field and is very comfortable moving and making plays in space. He is another next level kid that can make an impact on a college roster.
