Jones is picking up offers left and right since the break as a top safety in the state. He just picked up offers from the two home grown schools in the state of Idaho with an Idaho State and University of Idaho offer. He is a long safety that has great range in the back end of the defense. He shows the ability to really track the football and make plays on the ball in the air. He is a willing tackler that will come down hill and fill an alley.

Jones is a big safety prospect that can really come down hill and make player at or near the line of scrimmage. He is able to fill the alley quickly and shows good hip fluidity to match up with big tight ends. He also has the frame to fill out and play linebacker at the next level as well.

Jones is a rangy safety prospect that understands the importance of being tuned into the opposing quarterback. With his frame we could even see him play some outside linebacker if he needed to. He is a good open field tackler and is not afraid to come up from his safety spot to make plays.

Jones has been one of the better and more balanced safeties across the state of Idaho for the past few seasons and will be a instant impact at the college level. His ability to play the entire back half of the field along with coming up in run support and not afraid to bang in the box makes him a ideal safety prospect at the next level. He has seen his recruitment pickup in recent weeks picking up offers from Rocky Mountain College and Pacific University and should see others come in as we near national signing day.

Jones is a big time athlete at safety with ideal size and range. His ability to make plays all over the field and take away slots along with tight ends is special. Jones makes a nice jump in the updated rankings and sneaks into the top 25 overall across Idaho in a top-five player in his position. He is a very smooth and twitchy defensive back with natural ball skills, good man coverage abilities and quick hips in space/transition while breaking quickly to the ball carrier and providing nice run support from the third level/brings a nice pop at the POA. Jones is a true middle of the field general, and has outstanding instincts baiting quarterbacks into bad throws and covers a ton of ground quickly both through the air and in run support. Jones is another no-brainer next level player that will immediately help a college roster and will be one of the top ball hawking safeties across Idaho this fall.

Jones has great length and speed for a safety where he shined last season for Eagle. A good open field tackler with the ability to get off the hash and to make plays in the passing game. Has the skills to be a D3+ offered player and will be a player on every teams scouting report this season.

Jones is another safety prospect that has prototype length and athleticism. A player who really gets off the hash with ease and plays will excellent eyes. A sure tackler that really plays in the alley well but does an excellent job in coverage especially in off man where he is able to use his speed and size to his advantage. He is a player that opposing quarterbacks will have to keep their eye on all season.

Jones enters into our 2025 rankings as a top 20 overall player in Idaho, along with being a top 5 player at his position. Playing for one of the top teams in the state, he had a tremendous Junior campaign and showed he can play both corner and safety, offering position versatility on the back end. He is a smooth peddler that can break quickly to the ball, baits quarterbacks into bad throws and shows ball skills and high point abilities when triggering. Jones also is not afraid to come down in run support, takes good angles in the open field and is a sure tackler in space that is not afraid to bring a hat. A high IQ kid that seems to have a natural feel for the game, he is a no brainer college caliber kid at the college level.
