Brooks also sees a uptick in his rating this time around, and can play multiple positions along the defensive line or even at the second level on the edge as a DPR guy. He is a strong and physical defender that is powerful at the point of attack, sheds blocks quickly and can provide some interior pass rush with fluid hips/redirect and flows down the line to ball carriers backside. Due to his size and overall athletic ability, he should project as a OLB or designated pass rusher at the next level but is a no brainer college caliber player with some nice growth potential in the right system.

Brooks is stout defense lineman that is going to be able to put on really good weight to his frame. He is going to have the ability to play inside or outside depending on team need. He has a quick first step and the ability to get offensive lineman’s hands down quickly. He was offered by College of Idaho.

Any cornerback is going to be tested deep, especially on the high school level. Quarterbacks testing Brooks deep might want to have a Plan B, because his combination of backpedal, transitional movement, and balletic footwork make such completions quite difficult. This kid is a baller!
