In terms of fluidity and comfort, you will be hard-pressed to find a corner more comfortable in their backpedal than Jack DeMenna Jack DeMenna 5'9" | 180 lbs | DB Don Bosco Prep | 2026 State NJ . Being so accustomed and married to his backpedal allows the Don Bosco prospect the opportunity to stay in coverage while also being an outstanding run supporter. DeMenna will swim to the outside and stack his assignment in order to maintain his force leverage, while also using the sideline as a defender to lay big hits. A hustler who never gives up on plays, DeMenna has shown to bust it down field to save a score. Also a safety at moments, he gets his hips around quickly and drives on the ball – often reacting to the shoulders of the quarterback. I would consider DeMenna’s hips to be of “plus” quality. In terms of mobility, DeMenna moves especially well backwards – hence the discussion on his backpedal – and laterally.
