2025 Wheeling Park OL Hunter Means Hunter Means 6'2" | 280 lbs | OL/DL Wheeling Park | 2025 State WV was a bit of an unknown coming into the Combine due to limited film available but quickly made himself known while on his way to earning an OL Top Performer spot. We had a good feeling that Means would show us a lot more at the event than we were able to see on film, and he answered our questions emphatically. His wrestling background helps him a ton on the football field, and Means was also able to show us some quality athleticism and good footwork to pair with his leverage ability and strength from his time on the mat.

Means opened a lot of eyes during the camp including ours and the college coaches in attendance. His performance will be reflected in our next 2025 rankings update later in the summer.

The 6’3 250 rising senior just wrapped up a successful wrestling season where he picked up his 100th career win before his senior year. We’ll be watching Means closely as we believe he’s capable of being ranked inside of our Top 150 but need to see more from him before placing him there. His wrestling background should greatly benefit his performance in 1-on-1s at the combine, and Means could end up being a surprise top performer with a strong showing. Our question for him will just be can he prove the hunch we have about his potential and show us he deserves to be talked about among the state’s best big men in the 2025 class? If he can, Means’ ranking is sure to reflect as such in the summer update.

Wheeling Park offensive lineman Hunter Means Hunter Means 6'2" | 280 lbs | OL/DL Wheeling Park | 2025 State WV is a raw football prospect with a quality wrestling background who flashed potential and upside as a junior for the Patriots last season. He has a very limited junior highlight tape which makes it difficult to give a fair evaluation, but Means has the size and ability to develop into a scholarship-level OL at the next level. He’ll likely have some wrestling offers to choose from and ultimately may choose that sport in college, but could also play football if he chooses to. The 6’3 250 junior showed good feet last season with the ideal size to play guard in college. His wrestling background could benefit his development heading into his senior season and although limited highlights, Means showed the willingness to be physical with apparent strength that he can build on. Means makes our state Watch List but is currently ranked as the #21 OL in the 2025 class based on potential and upside alone but could move in either direction after next season depending on his available film.
