Batson make you go wow when you look at his stat sheet. The 6’1 205 LB leads the #3 team in the State with 47 solo tackles, 73 TT, with an eye popping 28 TFL with 11 sacks and 2 forced fumbles.
If you like LB play you will love Batson’s film. Quick, powerful, and has a nose for the football. Fearless tackler that will out to make the stop. Great pursuit angles and is unstoppable coming off the edge.
He has proven himself against some of the top competition with a season high 16 TT in a win over highly touted Warner Robins and 12 TT with 5 TFL in a win over powerhouse Colquitt County. Carries a 4.1 GPA off the field.
Batson is a diamond in the rough tucked away down in the SW corner of the State. He will turn some heads come playoff time.

A smart, max-effort South Georgia linebacker to know about in the 2027 class, Batson has flashed D1-potential this season as a sophomore and is quickly becoming the next big-time prospect to come out of Lee County. Just a sophomore, this 6-foot-1 210-pound defender can make plays all over the field and can line up at multiple positions on defense. He’s been extremely active this fall, making 66 total tackles, 21 TFLs and six sacks. He’s lived in the backfield this year and should see some impressive offers come his way down the line. He’s another linebacker who should see a boost in his Prep Redzone ranking in the next update.

Lee County is known for putting out great linebackers and Batson is next in line. Strong physical guy that measured in at 6’0 192. Tested well in all the metric categories and performed well in the 1v1s. On his freshman film you can tell why the coaches are so high on this young guy. Good vision with an explosive 1st step that can make plays sideline to sideline. Violent tackler.
