Expert Analysis
Matt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
A mean, physical interior lineman with big-time size and power at 6-foot-4 325-pounds, Dixon is a South Georgia lineman who plays with a level of toughness, shows good footwork, and the ability to consistently drive defenders into the ground. He has a muscular frame and does a greta job of using his size and natural strength to his advantage. He’s one of the top overall offensive line prospects across the state for his class and proved it last year as he gave up just one sack all season long while dominating in the run game for the mighty Lee County Trojans. Dixon earned an offer from Virginia Tech over the weekend and more and likely heading his way.

- Listed at 6’4 295. Looks to have good muscle structure.
- Versatile. Takes snaps at RT and guard.
- Has soft footwork for a big guy. Anchors down against the pass rush and has the strong base needed to survive the bull rush.
- Has the strong hands and grip strength needed to manipulate defenders and rework momentum from his legs through his hands.
- Not super explosive off the snap, but can move the pile and drive defenders out of running lanes when he can take a full step to position himself.
- Can pull to handle edge defenders and can also leak out to second level. Plays with good hand placement and finishes plays through the dirt.
- Thick legs and ankles. Will likely project long term at G, but could also play RT once he fully unlocks his movement skills.
- P5 upside. Will draw more eyes once he contributes on the varsity level.
