Expert Analysis
Matt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
A pass-catching tight end who can play the ball like a receiver, Blackwell is a rural-Georgia prospect on the rise who made consistent plays in the passing game throughout his junior season. He brings impressive size at 6-foot-4 215-pounds who can also be a physical blocker in the run game. He’s a natural athlete who can contort his body and make a tough catch in traffic down the field. He’s a mismatch in the red-zone and should be even better next fall as a senior. In 2025, Blackwell hauled in 24 passes for 438 yards and five touchdowns. The do-it-all athlete has earned recent offers from USF, UCONN, UFC, Liberty, among others.
