About Grayson

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’d describe my style of play as strong, fast, and reliable. I like to use my strength to win 1v1 battles and my speed to make plays. I stay focused on what the coaches ask from me and always try to do my job the right way. I'm disciplined, easy to coach, and someone my teammates can count on to give full effort every game

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a pretty easygoing and funny person, but when it’s time to lock in, I’m all in. I’m super reliable. People know they can count on me, whether it’s on the field or off. Family always comes first for me, and that’s where I get a lot of my drive from. I’m determined to reach my goals and I’m not afraid to put in the work to get there

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that has high academic standards because I want to be challenged in the classroom, not just on the field. I’m looking for a positive, energetic coaching staff that pushes players to be their best but also cares about them. Most of all, I want to be at a place that’s going to set me up for success long after football—something that prepares me for the next 40 years.

Grayson has been offered several offers throughout camp season and will be someone to watch out for. Primarily a running back, he will be the main option to replace Ohio State lacrosse commit Jake Struck. Grayson impresses with his quickness throughout the first level of the field. He has a twitch in his body when he picks a hole, making it hard to get down on the ground. He can make defenders miss and is generally a good mover. I’d like to see more reps from him as a pass catcher, but Grayson will cover a majority of the ground game this season. Defensively, Grayson will line up as a safety. Smart and disciplined is the name of his game, and his athleticism shines on that side of the ball.
