Giampietro measures in at 6’2 225-pounds. The defensive end had 25 total tackles (11 solo, 14 assisted), 10 TFL, 6 sacks, 12 QB pressures, and 1 PD. Giampietro has good athletic ability due to very good lateral quickness, acceleration, good change of direction, and speed. He has very good initial quickness out of his stance. Very good hand strength and hand placement to rip through the OL easily. Giampietro has good block shedding and good off speed. Very good tackling. Giampietro has relentless pursuit, and won’t stop till the ballcarrier is his grasp. He’s another exciting prospect that I believe can impact the D2-FCS level.
