Sema has a prototypical size for a tight end measuring in at 6’4 230-pounds. He had 20 receptions for 443 yards and 7 touchdowns. Sema has very good athletic ability due to very good speed, jumping, good change of direction, and acceleration. He has a very good release at the line of scrimmage both against off coverage and press jam. Very good separation quickness due to his athletic ability, mental processing, and play strength. He fights through contact during the route. He’ll sit in the open void or create an opening when his QB is scrambling. Outruns linebackers and defensive backs. Very good ball tracking and catching. Sema is a TE that is a beast when he has the ball in his hands, being hard to tackle and having the ability to run through defenders. He has great hands and can go up and pluck the ball out of the air. He is able to high point the football and using his strength to pull defenders with him to the first down marker. He has some speed and when he is able to catch the ball in space, he is able to turn up field and out run defenders, creating a mismatch problem for the defense.
