Gavin Johnson Gavin Johnson 6'1" | 185 lbs | ATH Hazard | 2027 State KY has been one of the more consistent receivers in the state over the past couple seasons. As a sophomore, Johnson caught 85 passes for 1,069 yards and 13 touchdowns. He is a very reliable jump ball/contested catch target, using his high catch radius and athleticism to go up and catch passes at their highest point along with the strong hands to pull in the catch through contact. Johnson has also shown the speed to pose as a dangerous deep threat. Gavin also scored two rushing touchdowns and returned one kickoff for a touchdown last season while also making an impact on defense, finishing the year with 51 tackles and a team-leading two interceptions. Johnson doesn’t currently hold any offers but I can see that changing soon as he has received a good amount of college interest.
