He was dominant in Boyle County’s Regional Championship win over Covington Catholic, carrying the ball 25 times for 440 yards and four touchdowns. JiDyn showed impressive vision, finding the running lane effectively then hitting it with a sense of urgency. He also showed the speed to run away from the defense once he hit the open field. Smith-Hisel doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is a player who college coaches should be paying close attention to. JiDyn and the Rebels will look to continue their dominance in a semifinal matchup against Corbin this week.
