. Baylor had a strong first season as the Rebels’ starter, completing 135/176 passes for 2,009 yards, 30 touchdowns, and one interception in 13 games. Murphy is an accurate passer, showing the ability to get the ball out quickly and hit his receivers out of their breaks. He also does a great job of going through his progressions to find the open man and is a good decision maker as a passer, very rarely trying to force the ball into coverage. Baylor doesn’t currently hold any offers but he should definitely be a player to watch heading into his senior year.

has had a very impressive junior season so far as he has led the Rebels to an undefeated season as well as a Top 20 national ranking. Through eight games, he has completed 100/126 passes for 1,537 yards, 23 touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Murphy has impressive accuracy, showing the ability to hit receivers out of their breaks where they can make catches in stride. He also has the arm strength to stretch the field in the deep passing game. Baylor doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is definitely a player to keep an eye on over the next two years. Murphy and the Rebels will be looking to keep their winning streak going against a talented Wayne County team this week.

Baylor is a 2026 QB prospect from Boyle County who excels at making precision throws to his receivers in a quick amount of time. Murphy has an extremely quick throwing motion which can be thanks to his ability to tread lightly off his feet and using his lower half to drive momentum into his throws. Due to this, Baylor can make quicker, further, and harder bullet throws to his intended targets. I also like how smooth his overall throwing motion is as it is exactly what every QBs coach looks to teach in throwing fundamentals to their players. With a lot left in the tank for Baylor, I am excited to see what the future holds in store for him at Boyle County High School. The future is bright for the young QB.
