Gaven Ritch Gaven Ritch 5'9" | 166 lbs | WR/DB Kennett | 2027 State PA is a legit athlete in the 2027 class. Playing as a slot receiver, he was outstanding. He is excellent with the ball in his hands. He has a great ability to make defenders miss in the open field. He has a stop-and-start ability that makes him difficult to tackle. He then shows burst and speed with the ball in his hands. Ritch is a talented, skilled slot receiver.

I wasn’t able to watch Ritch during 1v1s as much as I could. The major takeaway from his performance is easily the testing numbers he put up.

166 pounds, 5’9 3/8, 6’2″ wingspan, 4.53 40 time, a time he basically replicated twice. 4.46 shuttle time, 9’6 broad jump at his height, 7.59 L Drill. This is all ammunition at Ritch’s disposal to help him get recruited by potential collegiate suitors, regardless the level. He’ll always be able to stand on these verified numbers. I’ll have to give good thought as to whether or not he deserves a bump in rank. Ritch is currently ranked as a high-end Division Two prospect.

His ability to make defenders miss and score on big plays is impressive. An example is he scored on a receiving, rushing, and kickoff return touchdown. All these plays show his ability to make defenders miss and run by them with his speed. He has elite speed and can have any defender miss. Ritch’s ability is elite as he is a special player with the ball in his hands.
