6’0, 215 pounds. Ranked as a linebacker but can do more than the label entails. 3.6 GPA. Hasn’t been active on Twitter since July, not a big deal in my opinion. Frequent camper, visited some schools on junior day visits back in the Spring.

Morgese might not be actively sharing tape on Twitter, yet he’s got more cut-ups through 2/3 weeks than most do on this list of seniors. Ranked inside the PRZNE Top 250, Morgese has racked up a minutes worth of quality reps through three games. Comfortable aligning as an OLB near the LOS in a 3-4 front. Morgese recorded two sacks against Methuen HS, both of which had Morgese coming off the edge. Love the power this kid generates without much momentum behind him. Is just 215 but proves he can push back much bigger tackles. Morgese recorded two TFLs against Marshfield too, one of which led to a huge fumble in SIP’s favor. Morgese has some game-breaker in him. Hope his recruitment sees a lift soon.

Evan Morgese Evan Morgese 6'0" | 215 lbs | LB St. John's Prep | 2025 State New E performed really well and grabbed my attention with his coverage skills during the one-on-one period. He has very good instincts. He displayed loose hips and a great knee bend. He can match up with most RBs and cover or run them down. He understands pursuit angles and can close time and space quickly. He is currently ranked as the # 13 LB in the class of 2025 in New England.

Evan Morgese Evan Morgese 6'0" | 215 lbs | LB St. John's Prep | 2025 State New E is another rising senior who had a strong 2023 season. I caught up to Evan recently to ask him about his recruitment activity. He informed me he is now 6’0″ 215 lbs. This is approximately 15 lbs heavier than the body weight he played with during the season. He is currently holding a 3.4 GPA. He was timed in the 40 after the season by his coach and ran a 4.60. He currently has a 355 lb bench and 285 lb power clean. He is in communications with Bryant, Merrimack, Holy Cross, and Umass.

During the evaluation process for rankings, “Evan” was graded out as a Div 1 prospect. His verified 40 time will be a determining factor as to where he finds additional interest that leads to offers. He is currently ranked as the # 13 LB in the class of 2025. I project that he will see his recruitment interest continue to rise during the spring and summer of 2024.

Evan moved himself up in the Class of 2025 rankings due to a very productive season. Evan is an explosive athlete who can play multiple positions. At OLB, he comes off the edge with high-level quickness and can rush the QB with great success. Uses his hands well to defeat pass blocking. His effort and energy show on special teams. Evan is a fun player to watch.
