“ Ethan Shirazi Ethan Shirazi 6'0" | 180 lbs | WR/DB Ralston Valley | 2026 State CO with the catch” was heard a lot Thursday evening as well as his name being called on the defensive side of the ball really showing the impact he has for this RV team.  On offense he always seems to be open, running very QB friendly routes for easy pitch and catches and gets vertical quickly for YAC.  His In traffic and over the middle, Shirazi has such strong hands and consistently comes down with contested balls.  You can see all three of these traits on display in his highlight against Columbine where he takes a 3 and 8 slant to the house for an 88 yd TD.  In a tight game, this was a massive play.  At the next level Ethan should also be a ST monster with the strong upper body, physicality, and frame, I see Ethan slotting in as a Core 4 guy.

Shirazi showed why he is one of the most dangerous receivers in the state, hauling in six receptions for 149 yards and two touchdowns. His ability to win with double moves or pure speed makes him nearly unguardable as he consistently stretched the field. Defenders struggled to keep pace as he created separation and made explosive plays downfield. Shirazi is the definition of an explosive play waiting to happen, capable of changing momentum on a single play. With this type of production, he is putting himself firmly on the radar as a player who could rise quickly in the rankings this fall.

Standing at 6’2”, Shirazi brings ideal size to the corner position. He plays with confidence and physicality at the line of scrimmage, using his length and speed to shadow receivers stride for stride. A player that is able to line up at multiple positions is able to contribute as a punter and wideout, Shirazi’s all around skill set stands out. He reads the quarterback well and closes quickly on throws, excelling in trail technique and recovery speed. He’s primed to climb the rankings in the months ahead.

Shirazi’s explosiveness was on full display throughout the season. Over 12 games, he fielded eight kickoffs and racked up 271 yards, averaging an impressive 33.9 yards per return. His straight-line burst and vision made him a constant threat to break the game wide open.

Shirazi is a two-way player that can be lockdown at the corner position at times, being able to run with the receiver and get his hand in to disrupt the pass or has the ability to come down with it as well. On offense he shows good speed being able to hit the hole getting to the second level and out running defenders in the open field. Shirazi plays a role in the return game as well, being able to flip the field with his speed and vision that sets the offense up for success. He is able to make an impact on the game in various different ways and should be a player on the radar moving forward.

Shirazi turned heads with his performance for Ralston Valley, rushing for 86 yards and scoring a touchdown against one of the top teams in the state. Averaging 10 yards per carry, Shirazi showed his ability to move the sticks and pick up chunk yardage when needed. His impressive showing in such a competitive matchup has put him on the radar as a player to watch for the remainder of the season. Shirazi’s combination of speed and power allowed him to consistently find gaps in the defense and break off significant gains, helping his team stay competitive throughout the game.
