Out of all the players mentioned in this article, nobody had a bigger breakout party than this guy who showed up big on the big stage Thursday night where Jaimes produced 8 receptions for 170 yards and one touchdown during McCallie’s 34-28 win over Baylor. The Blue Tornado senior had a stellar senior year that boosted him up inside our in-state rankings but this championship performance might have taken Jaimes to another level as I see him as a definite FCS prospect that might get a D1 look or two. His speed and ability to adjust in mid-route is what stands out the most to me and traits that translate very well to the next level. It will be interesting to see where this guy’s recruitment goes over the coming weeks, especially after his championship performance.

Stepping forward into the #1 receiver role this year for his Blue Tornado team, Jaimes is a speedster that can stretch the field but also work the intermediate routes then allow his speed to take over. The native Canadian added more weight this offseason which in turn has allowed him to take his game to another level, turning himself into a legit college level recruit. The speed that Jaimes brings to the field allows him to be utilized in a variety of ways from lining up outside or in the slot as well as possibly develop into a gunner or return man on special teams. This Chattanooga area wideout has to continue developing his route running as well as continue to put on more weight but this senior season has been good to Jaimes as he is playing his way into becoming a future college pass catcher. Enrique Jaimes Enrique Jaimes 6'0" | 185 lbs | WR McCallie | 2024 State TN has looked extremely explosive up to the midseason point for McCallie High School. Very good route running ability, he shows a good understanding of how to attack leverage and manipulate DB’s with subtle change in pace and creating separation with violent hip shifts. Good downfield tracking ability with great speed on a vertical plane and he finishes at the catch point with strong hands.
