The Blue Tornado dominated St. Mary’s Ryken last week with Fortier being a major force behind the victory. This junior gunslinger had his best game to date with McCallie by spinning it for over 440 yards and four scores while only throwing four incompletions. Wherever this Canadian native wanted to put the ball, he did it. Fortier might have the most powerful arm within the TN2028 class that can push the ball down field better than almost all quarterbacks inside the Volunteer State. Fortier appears to be coming into his own, so I’m expecting more performances like this throughout the season while also contending for D2-AA Mr. Football.

is an intriguing passer who is stepping into the starting role at McCallie in 2026. He’s a massive football player, standing 6-foot-5 and weighing 235 pounds with a lean frame.
Fortier possesses impressive arm talent, good accuracy, the ability to create and a nice amount of wiggle. I really like his upside this season and cannot wait to see him produce. The junior is one of the top quarterbacks in the classification and should put up big numbers.
