As the off-season progresses, Emet Evjen Emet Evjen 6'6" | 220 lbs | TE/WR Cheshire Academy | 2027 State New E has been making significant strides in his recruitment journey. Standing at an impressive 6’6” and weighing 220 lbs, Emet’s talent and hard work are catching the eyes of NCAA programs across the region.
Emet shares, “This off-season has been productive! I’ve had good conversations with several coaches, leading to campus invites and visits. In November, I attended a Holy Cross game thanks to Coach Schell and a Fordham game with Coach Petraca. My junior day at UMass was fantastic, culminating in a one-on-one meeting with Head Coach Harasymiak. I also connected with UConn’s Tight End Coach Wray during their spring practice and Coach Candle. Army’s Coach Loose has reached out multiple times and even attended one of my team lifts, inviting me to Junior Day where I met Coach Holt and Head Coach Monken. This week, I’m off to Villanova after an invite from Coach Kline and returning to Fordham after hearing from Coach Mason. April looks busy with invites from Wake Forest, UPenn, Bucknell, Bryant, Albany, and Boston College, along with additional interest from Stonybrook, Marist, and Coastal Carolina.”
