will play outside linebacker for the Red Flash and the defensive athlete from Canisius is the third western New Yorker on this list. Howard-Dolson showed he can play defensive line, outside linebacker, and full back in high school and was a consistent dynamic athlete throuh his multiple years on Varisty. Howard-Dolson is thick and strong showcasing the ability to shed blocks and powerfully finish tackles. For a player with the his build and strength he showcases some dynamic change of direction and twitch, especially when he is rushing the passer. Howard-Dolson is a plus athlete who as he continues to develop his fundamentals as a defender will be a player who can impact the game defensively, on special teams, and could even fill in on some short yardage packages on offense.

is a powerful runner who has solid speed but runs with physicality more than anything else. Howard-Dolson is so tough to bring down because he has a thick and powerful lower body that always keeps moving. As a running back Howard-Dolson showcases solid agility and short area-burst but it is his power which helps him win. Howard-Dolson is also one of the best pass blocking athletes or running backs in this class due to his ability to anchor and make powerful blocks with his upper body. On the defensive side of the ball, Howard-Dolson’s size and physical play make him a really solid defensive end. On the edge Howard-Dolson is quick off the snap and does a good job of making a powerful initial punch to offensive lineman. As a pass rusher, Howard-Dolson has solid bend around the edge and can finish plays in the backfield. Overall, Howard-Dolson does need some more consistency on both sides of the ball but the flashes are there and Howard-Dolson could rise up high in our rankings with a strong senior season.
