Either way, the talent is evident in this group, and the offers are flying in.
OFFERS
Jaylin Ballew Jaylin Ballew 6’3″ | 210 lbs | TE Erasmus Hall | 2024 State NY headlines another recruiting report as his name stays hot in the New York recruiting cycle and his most recent offer is from Bowling Green, who has been very present in New York in the recent weeks. The TE from E-hall continues a strong spring with his second offer in 2023.

Preston Carey Preston Carey 6’5″ | 280 lbs | DL St. Anthony’s | 2026 FL is essentially a guarantee to be in this article ever edition. Carey picked up his 22nd and 23rd division one offers from West Virginia and Oklahoma as nearly every major DI program accross the nation is jumping in on Carey’s recruitment.

Juelz Russell Juelz Russell 5’11” | 170 lbs | WR University Prep | 2024 State NY , one of the fastest players in the entire state picked up his first offer from the University of Maine. Maine has a presence in Western New York and especially in Rochester where Russell plays for UPrep.

Aqil Meredith-Smith Aqil Meredith-Smith 6’4″ | 285 lbs | OL Moore Catholic | 2024 State NY out of Moore Catholic is one of the top interior offensive lineman in the state. Meredith-Smith had a strong showing at the Elite V showcase and just picked up an offer from Bethune-Cookman, an HBCU from the SWAC conference.

Speaking of the hottest names in New York, Nahseem Deas Nahseem Deas 6’3″ | 190 lbs | QB Lincoln | 2024 State NY has picked up three offers in 2023 his most recent opportunity comes from Bethune-Cookman, former Utica OC Joe Gerbino is not the Co-OC at Bethune Cookman and he has already done some work in New York with Deas, who was a top performer in front of some Utica coaches was a top performer at the Elite V showcase continues to be a top name this cycle.

A very intriguing name on this list, Boakai Veikai Boakai Veikai 6’4″ | 210 lbs | ATH Moore Catholic | 2024 State NY was a basketball star for Moore Catholic and will be making a move to add football to his list of sports, through some spring practices and just the measurables along Veikai got offers from Maryland and Bowling Green, a strong start to a very young football career.
Rowan Byrne Rowan Byrne 6’5″ | 290 lbs | OL Iona Prep | 2025 State NY continues a strong spring of FCS offers with an offer from Stanford. Byrne is not only our #1 player in 2025 but is becoming a very sought after national recruit.

Dyrell Howard-Dolson Dyrell Howard-Dolson 6’0″ | 215 lbs | ATH Canisius | 2024 State NY out of Canisius is a very versatile player who has some very solid athletic traits. Howard-Dolson picked up his first offer a last summer from UMASS but just picked up his second offer from Sacred Heart today.

With a few top Erasmus Hall defenders graduation, Oshane Martin Jr Oshane Martin Jr 6’2″ | 205 lbs | LB Erasmus Hall | 2024 State NY becomes one of the top names in the Erasmus Hall back 7, Martin Jr picked up his first offer from the local DII Pace University and it kickstarts the recruitment for a player who can really build some interest throughout camp season and this fall.
