. The 6’4″ 270 lbs OT looks the part of a D1 caliber OL. He towers over his opponents, but the big man is able to get his hands inside and get underneath his opponent with his natural lower body flexibility. Dylan absolutely dominates in the run game. He comes off the line. quick and violent. His initial contact usually devastates the opposing DL and either puts them on their back or starts the flow that ends with Dylan running them 5+ yards off the line. Dylan’s ability to create overwhelming power on contact, hand placement, and knee/ankle flexibility are D1 quality. Plus he has that mean streak to his mentality. A program is going to be hyped to land a kid of this caliber. Especially at this point in the recruiting calendar.

I love the way Dylan plays in the trenches. When you watch through his highlights it seems like every single play ends with him putting his opponent flat on their back. Dylan is a hunter. He takes the fight to his opponent and doesn’t give them a second to recover or counter. Once his hands are on you he is going to overpower you and set the tone with the violence that he plays with. Even when he doesn’t have a man to block initially the senior finds a victim. That tenacity and mean streak is what we want in our trench monsters and it is what we need in our perfect OL recruit. The senior is uncommitted too, so you can still add that to your current recruiting classes.

It happened. The very talented OT out of Verona has gotten even better this offseason. Dylan already checked off a lot of boxes that has made him a highly touted recruit here in WI. He has mammoth size with length needed to thrive out on the island that is OT. He has shown the power to completely maul defensive ends and LBs in the run game, driving them wherever he is asked to. Where he could have improved, and he did, was in pass protection. The big man’s tape from Week 1 shows all that devastating power, and now a prospect who can win consistently in pass protection. Dylan is able to get deep into a pass set to meet speed rushers trying to get around the corner on him. You see him set his anchor and stonewall those rushers with a strong punch. Dylan does it all while staying square and balanced. That gives him the chance to also react to counter moves in those reps. The senior’s is back and better than ever. We could see even more programs recruit him harder.

Dylan is an OT prospect that has been able to make impressive strides in his development over the past couple seasons. Between the growth on his 6’4″ frame and the development of his game we have seen a lot of college programs gain interest in him. Over the past few months we have seen many extend offers. Mankato, Sioux Falls, Winona State, Northern State, and Southeast Missouri State have all come calling with offers.
In pass protection, Dylan does a great job using his frame and length to his advantage. He uses his long arms to land accurate strikes that stop or redirect his pass rusher. Dylan has solid agility and change of direction, but his length allows him time to recover if he does get a step behind. In the run game Dylan is a downhill mauler. He clamps those big hands on his man and drives them off the ball and is basically able to steer where he wants them to go. It is clear the big man has very strong hands when you watch through his highlights. I’m excited for his final season at Verona.

Joining the best uncommitted athlete in WI is one of the best uncommitted OL in WI. Dylan is a massive OT prospect with traits to match. He is quick out of his stance and is essentially automatic when it comes to creating positive movement in the trenches. Between his heavy hands and powerful leg drive Dylan is able to repeatedly put opponents on their back or drive them into the second level. The big man is also quickly developing nimble feet and the balance needed to stay square in pass protection. He is patient in his pass set and uses his length to get that initial contact. The arrow continues to point upwards for the Verona OT.

. The junior has an intriguing skill set at the position. First off, he is absolutely massive at 6’5″ 300 lbs. Dylan isn’t just a big body, though. He has the athletic lower body with light feet that allow him to play laterally to position himself in the trenches. It also allows him to double team up to level two, and peel off to get an LB. He also is able to mirror pass rushers well. The top half is highlighted by heavy hands that gave a good punch, controlled the man, and helped generate a big push. Keep a close eye on the development of the Verona junior.

Dylan is another athlete that could see an increase in his recruitment, and offers, early in the season. I have mentioned before how much he has grown over the past year or so. Last time we saw him he was mauling DL in the run game at 280 lbs. He is now 6’4″ 300 lbs. If he can show the same burst out of his stance, transition that burst into power and movement in the trenches while run blocking Dylan will be well on his way to locking himself in as one of the top OL in the Class. He will need to continue to play with the same balance and body control that we saw last season too. I believe we are going to see impressive film early and often from the Verona OL. He has proven that he adapts to his growth spurts quickly. We should see more of the same starting Friday. In my eyes, Hildebrand is the top offensive player in the 2025 Class without a D1 offer.

. The 6’4″ 300 lbs OT has quickly grown into the part of a high level OT. Every update we do the kid seems to grow another inch or two and add 15-20 lbs. The ’25 OT has high end burst out of his stance in the run game. He closes quickly, and effortlessly transitions that burst into power at the point of contact. His punch devastates DL at the HS level. He is a nimble athlete, especially for his size. I love using the idea of a dancing bear when it fits, and Dylan personifies it perfectly. Dylan makes it look easy. His feet are quick and give him the ability to slide and mirror pass rushers effectively in pass protection. The Verona OT is big, athletic, powerful, and his body control is very good and getting better. Dylan is closing in on the other top OL in this Class.

Rankings Jump: 35 SpotsrnThe on field jump that Dylan made during his sophomore campaign was very impressive. It earned him the massive 35 spot jump that he saw during this update. Dylan’s biggest improvement was in his body control. He has grown into his 6’4″ 280 lbs frame, and it has taken his game to the next level. His flexibility and ovearll movement look more natural and smooth this fall. Dylan also demonstrates heavy, cinder block hands that are able to instantly get defenders off balance. From there he is able to overpower them and control them to the whistle. The big man uses his length to his advantage too. You will see him making the initial contact throughout his highlights from last season. Expect Dylan to continue to climb up the boards here at PRZ WI and for teams at the next level.
