Jackson is a powerful receiving weapon still on the open market. The big man has a big frame at 6’4″ 195 lbs and could honestly continue to grow himself into more of a move TE who can line up all over the field and provide mismatches. The big target shines in every scenario where he can utilize his size and strong hands to box out or moss smaller DBs downfield or in the redzone. Jackson is too strong for the majority of DBs at the high school level, but he also is fluid enough to succeed with his route running. This would be a fun weapon for an OC to work into a game plan over the coming years.
Massive mismatch who dominates in 50/50, jump ball scenarios. Vertical threat and also a redzone standout. Large, strong frame and an equally large catch radius for his QB to target.

at Verona. The show might start this summer at camps as Jackson works towards his first offer. There is plenty to catch the eye with the 6’4″ 195 lbs athlete. Jackson uses that mismatch frame to provide a huge catch radius because he has soft, reliable hands to grab the ball off the top shelf. The impressive junior creates a lot of his separation with his sheer size and strength to box out DBs and also high pointing the ball with good timing. Connor also has highlights where he is able to simply run past DBs deep downfield. Jackson’s size, catch radius, and ability to win in redzone situations should get him attention by the time summer rolls around.
One way I have heard scouts describe building a WR room is like building a basketball team. You need the quick guy, possession receiver, and the kid you can go to who will provide a mismatch with his size and strength over DBs. Jackson ConnorJacksonConnor

of Verona fills that last void. The 6’4″ 195 lbs WR is at home in the redzone and in all situations where his length and catch radius can overwhelm a DB. Jackson does a great job of adjusting and corralling the ball with his wide wingspan and he uses his reach to take the ball off the top of the head of DBs. Jackson is a target that you can just throw it up to and he finds a way to get his hands on it, box out, and reel it in. I’m excited to see him take a step forward this summer/fall.
