. After Drew’s brother Reis Kessel (NDSU TE) was a late bloomer last summer we surely weren’t wasting time after watching Drew on tape on adding him amongst our top tier of the 2027 rankings, especially with already being 6’7 as a sophomore. That big body already shows off an excellent catch radius that does not take long to stick out from our end with the athleticism that he brings the table. Drew also looks like a prospect that already has great instincts when you watch his hands find their way the ball regardless of where he lined up in the Bruins receiving core. I also love a wide receiver with the basketball background, as Drew is one that shows off consistently as one that uses all of his size to box out smaller athletes in the secondary to get front of the ball. Another D1 grade I will hand out in the top tier of targets in North Dakota.
