I saw the upside of the next two twins in our DB rankings well over a year ago already and you are starting to really see the upside get untapped from Madit Ajak Madit Ajak 5'11" | 170 lbs | DB Fargo South | 2027 State ND and Chan Ajak Chan Ajak 5'11" | 170 lbs | DB Fargo South | 2027 State ND of Fargo South. Madit’s ability to adjust en-route from an agility perspective, has really sped of his development in 1v1 coverage in my eyes. Another area I have seen a lot of growth from Madit comes from the weight room, as he has gotten taller and added about 15-20 pounds to his frame since my first evaluation at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase. He’s a high motor athlete that surely is another one from this DB list that certainly will get opportunities to play on Saturdays.

A recent top-tier defensive back at our spring Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase, is Madit Ajak Madit Ajak 5'11" | 170 lbs | DB Fargo South | 2027 State ND of Fargo South who had a promising Week 1 on tape. I could easily track the growth Madit’s made over the summer especially with his footwork as he appears more agile and gets around the ball quicker from what I saw from his 2024 season with the Bruins. The versatility he shows at safety was also intriguing in Week 1 as the 5’9 150 pounder got downhill quickly nearly into the backfield to slow down the running game for Dickinson quickly. Madit is playing with a notable presence around the ball that despite not being the biggest safety you will ever see, he surely plays above his measurables with the physicality he delivers around the ball.

Madit was our top performer in testing in the broad jump, showing off the explosion that we see from tape that is brewing. He went 9’7 in the broad jump and showed off a longer reach than you might see on the measurables (nearly 6’2) in which the reps I watched I thought he did a solid job putting that reach into fruition in the reps I watched. I was intrigued how during 1v1s how well this young man finished every rep, as he showed persistent longevity on intermediate and deep routes that also added the edge physicality from start to finish of those reps. Well-versed footwork put Madit in the top-tier in the group with that skillset as his ball-tracking ability has some upside to grow into this summer and beyond but the physical traits are surely there to play on Saturdays.

One of two of the Ajak brothers within our 2027 newcomers is Madit Ajak Madit Ajak 5'11" | 170 lbs | DB Fargo South | 2027 State ND , the other Fargo South Bruins safety. There is just something about when this kid makes contact that forces the ball to consistently pop out in pass coverage as I like the persistent physicality with Madit’s pursuit angles that show off versatile in run stopping and pass coverage. Madit also shows off a good ball-tracking ability that I believe has upside to grow even more over teh coming years and similar to his brother, his range he shows off is intriguing. I like the 2026 class from Fargo South, but man I surely think I already am getting intriguing with his 2027 class too.
