Dre’mail Carothers Dre’mail Carothers 6'4" | 190 lbs | QB Owensboro Catholic | 2027 State KY is a player who really impressed me on the camp circuit this offseason. He served as a backup last season but was productive when on the field, throwing for over 700 yards and eight touchdowns with one interception. Carothers throws an impressive deep ball, showing the arm strength to stretch the field and touch to put the ball where only his intended receiver can catch it. He has also shown impressive accuracy, showing the ability to hit his receivers out of their breaks so that they can make catches in stride. Carothers currently holds offers from Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky, and Kentucky Wesleyan, and I expect more Division I offers to come his way as he takes the reins as the starting quarterback this season.
