He is a balanced runner with great contact balance, leg drive through arm and ankle tackles and shows he can make defenders miss in the hole with a true third level gear in the clear and cutback abilities. Kelley is a no brainer FCS+ prospect but remains uncommitted and is a name to keep a close eye on as we reach the second and final national signing day.

Kelley has been one of the top rushers across the northern California region for the past several years, and is very explosive and physical in-between the tackles, while having an elite third gear in the clear and cutback abilities. He competes against the regions top competition week in and week out, and seemingly always puts up big numbers in the run game, with Friday night being no different. He rushed for just over 90 yards and two scores, while doing an excellent job from the backfield all night against an always stout San Ramon Valley defense.

Kelley is one of the more under-rated backs in the region due to being part of an elite three headed backfield that De La Salle has this year. Between Jones-Drew, Blanche and Kelley, the Spartans have one, if not the best backfield in the state and all three runners are behind a very athletic, efficient and violent offensive line. This weekend Kelley rushed for just under 100 yards on the ground, and added 2 scores against a very good foe in St. Francis from the WCAL. Kelly is another no brainer college caliber back with offers from Nevada, Portland State and SJSU and should continue to draw interest/potential offers through his Senior season and will be a big time steal for a college program.
