Taylor has the raw tools to be successful. He just needs further development, especially with hand placement and strike timing. But if the 6-foot-5, 275-pound offensive tackle can figure out the technique points, the sky is the limit. His quick get-off, size, and strength cannot be coached. He is a surprisingly-nimble puller on power and counter runs.

D’Nilyeon Taylor D’Nilyeon Taylor 6'5" | 275 lbs | OL Westerville North | 2026 State OH , a rising talent from Westerville North, stands tall at 6’5″ and 270 pounds. Despite being young and relatively new to varsity play as a sophomore, Taylor has already showcased immense potential that hints at a bright future ahead.
One of Taylor’s most notable attributes is his exceptional athleticism, coupled with impressive footwork for an offensive lineman. This athleticism gives him a strong foundation upon which to build his skills and refine his technique as he progresses in his football career.
While Taylor may still be considered raw, his debut season on varsity provides a valuable learning experience that sets the stage for improvement in the years to come. Areas such as leverage and hand placement, typical nuances of offensive line play, represent areas where he has room to grow. However, with dedication and coaching, there’s significant potential for him to elevate his game to an elite level.
As Taylor enters his junior and senior campaigns, his stock is expected to rise steadily. With each season, he’ll gain more experience, refine his skills, and further solidify his presence on the field.

D’Nilyeon played great as a Sophomore in 2023. His very good play helped the Westerville North Warriors to a 9-win season where they advanced to the 2nd round of the playoffs and averaged 26.6 points per game. He lines up at RG. In pass pro, he shows quick feet and uses his solid use of hands and play strength to slow down the progress of DT or blitzing LB giving the QB a clean pocket to operate from. While run blocking, he is quick off the ball and uses his great use of hands to win battles with his hands inside and uses his above-average foot drive to easily overpower the DT.
