Deshawn Stewart Deshawn Stewart 6'2" | 185 lbs | DB DePaul Catholic | 2025 State NJ has not lost his passion or excitement to play the game, whatsoever. The reason his exuberance shows on film is because Stewart makes plays. He makes plays, largely, due to his ability to open up and run like a gazelle. Additionally, Stewart’s is able to get his hips around, flipping them smoothly and effortlessly. His elite mobility allows him to create havoc plays, breaking up pass attempts ad nauseam. Coverage is not his only forte, however. Stewart is excellent at supporting the run, absolutely sticking ball carriers in the process. I like his fundamentals of tackling, where we see him hit/wrap/drive or roll whenever appropriate.

Deshawn Stewart Deshawn Stewart 6'2" | 185 lbs | DB DePaul Catholic | 2025 State NJ is the definition of a shut down corner. With 3 interceptions on the season in 2022, Deshawn is a straight up ball hawk. He is the type of corners you can trust to handle one on one with the best the other team has to offer at the wideout position. He can press at the line and stay stride to stride with them down the field. A lengthy corner, Deshawn has great reach and an ability to get his hands in front of the receiver just in time to prevent the catch. With offers from Duke, Syracuse, Boston College, UConn and many others, DeShawn will look to continue impressing schools this season. Deshawn is one of my favorite 2025 corners coming out of NJ and I don’t see a lot of receivers getting by him these next two years.
