Cleveland has had the most stability at the quarterback position of any school in the state over the last decade and a half, but will have to reload at that position for the first time in four years. That will make Ruffin’s role that much more key as one of the established returning receivers. He caught 55 passes for nearly 1,000 yards a year ago, a mark he’ll look to pass in 2025.

Read EvaluationMatt Morrow | Prep Redzone Scout
DeAngelo was a highly productive player for a good Cleveland team this past season. DeAngelo had 1012 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns on the year. The 1012 receiving yards led a pass-first team in yardage, an impressive feat. DeAngelo was also selected as an All-Conference player for this production. Looking at his highlights, DeAngelo does a good job of running a variety of routes from the slot – and he is a major deep threat on some of those routes. DeAngelo can get into the seam and find the holes in zone coverage, or he can run a wheel route against man coverage with excellent speed and create separation. I will be excited to see him with more development this offseason.
