climbed up the 2024 rankings this time around and it’s pretty simple for us. Noles has been one of the more impactful 2024 prospects that we’ve seen in person this season. Noles is listed as a defensive back because he’s headed to the next level to play defense. But when we got a chance to see Norman in person earlier this season, Noles shined in all three phases of the game. Whether it was as a running back on offense or returning a punt for a touchdown in special teams, Noles had his presence felt that night. Noles is a good example of why in-person evaluations are so important. Noles looked the part on film but then we got a chance to see him in person and he checked every box.

We think that Norman 2024 standout

is one of the more underrated prospects in the state’s 2024 class. Noles was an absolute star for the Tigers on both sides of the ball last season. He made the most impact on defense in the secondary but he racked up the tackles like a linebacker. He finished the year with nearly 150 tackles on the season and was an absolute heat-seeking missile on that side of the ball. And on offense, Noles was a hard-nosed runner when the Tigers needed it and he finished with nine touchdowns on the ground. Noles will be a big part of the running game as they replace their star quarterback, who did a great job in the run game. But Noles, in our opinion, is one of the better two-way players in 6A-1.

We love Norman going into the 2023 season and the biggest reason is their 1-2 punch of

on that defensive side of the ball. We already broke down Boyd and now it’s time to move back to the secondary and look at Noles at the safety position. Just like with Boyd, Noles had one of the best films we watched that was specifically on the defensive side of the ball. Noles had some plays on offense and special teams that made him even more unique but what really stood out to us was what he did on defense. This kid is an absolute heat-seeking missile when he’s running around on the field. It’s still early in the process when it comes to breaking down film this month but we don’t anticipate seeing very many other players that are harder hitters than Noles. But he’s not just a strong safety that runs in a straight line and hammers an opponent. He’s a really good athlete and that’s noticeable when you look at him taking snaps as a wildcat QB or wide receiver or returning kicks. There really isn’t much to critique when it came to Noles on film as it was one of the stronger highlights that we watched this week.
