Dawoud is a defensive end from Saline I see having a big year for the Hornets. The first thing that pops on film about Dawoud is his incredible athleticism and motor he displays whether it is rushing the quarterback or his ability to drop into coverage. This do it all rush end has a high motor , shows great bend and flexibility, and does a great job using his hands to knock down lineman’s punch at him. I see a big year ahead for Dawoud and like the Hornets to make a serious run at a state title this year.
We have been high on Issa for awhile, and he has really started to gain momentum on the recruiting trail, and Sunday’s performance was a great display of what makes him so special.
-Huge upside as an edge rusher, with great speed and power
-Seemed very coachable throughout the day, taking coaching and applying it to the next rep
-Athletic but physical build, measured in at nearly 6’4 and over 235 lbs
We currently have Issa slotted #2 at his position, and with his strength, speed and size, he could jump up to #1 before it’s all said and done. Issa has a really well rounded game. He gets off the ball well, can consistently win reps in a variety of ways, and has an extremely high motor. He has no problem playing physical, and has shown that he is a very good tackler. The Saline defense should be as stout as they come, and I would bet Issa has a plethora of opportunities to make life hard for opposing quarterbacks all season long.

Issa is a confident, energetic player. Every time I’ve seen Issa in the offseason, he’s been a steady performer, and he honestly consistently outplays his highlight tape. Has D1 size alongside D1 athletic ability and seems to have a D1 work ethic.
He’s also a two-way player, which is a little more uncommon than you’d expect. Issa will absolutely retain his top-5 position in the EDGE/DL rankings, with some #1 consideration.
