Really good 2025 for Cruz, but 2026 could be a massive breakout year. I got to see him in week 1 last season at Rockford, and the film lines up to what I saw in person. Saline absolutely trusts his hands and body control, often times just throwing the ball up to him and letting him make the play. If you can see him, he’s open. His size and length mixed with his vertical and solid hands allows him to put defensive backs in a tough position. On top of all of that, he can make you pay if you play too far up, often times turning on the jets and blowing right by the defense. I would seriously do my homework on Cruz if I were a program at the next level looking for a true playmaker.
