Zack Reyes | Prep Redzone Scout
Boyd announced his commitment to Duke after decommitting from Fresno St. in October. The #6-OL prospect in PRZ NV’s 2025 rankings took an OV towards the end of the month and had previously listed the Blue Devils in his top three prior to his Fresno St. commitment. Boyd was the top OL left on the board with the D-I combination of size, skill, and physicality he brings to the table.

Boyd’s had a busy few months of recruiting with offers coming in from Fresno St. and Duke, along with visits to Arizona St., USC, and Duke. The 6’4”/300 OL is a massive presence on the front-seven with great agility, twitch, and quickness for his size. He controls and moves defenders at-will as a run blocker and shuts down edge rushers in pass protection. His patience, hand-fighting, and ability to fortify the pocket from his RT spot stand out on his junior tape. Boyd narrowed down his top four to Arizona, Arizona St., Duke, and UNLV and just wrapped up an official visit with Duke last weekend.

spent the 2023 season cementing himself as a top OL recruit in Nevada. The versatile prospect received an offer from Arizona State in December, and also took multiple game day visits across the country last fall. Be on the lookout for Daniel to receive more offers before next season gets here. Daniel shows a rare combination of speed, power, and athleticism knocking out defenders at the second level. A fast punch, quick feet, and good patience gets displayed easily tossing edge rushers in pass protection. Coaches love Daniel’s strength and physicality that gets displayed finishing blocks in both phases.

was a big riser this off-season and after watching him for the first time last Friday, I can see why all eyes will be on the dominant junior this fall. Daniel’s next level power showed flattening linebackers at the second level and easily tossing edge rushers aside in pass protection. Coaches like Daniel’s combination of quick feet and high football IQ that consistently cuts off flowing linebackers in the run game. Good strength and athleticism displayed in both phases give Daniel the flexibility to play more than one OL spot in college. Expect Daniel to receive more out of state offers and become one of the heaviest recruited 2025 Nevada OL this fall.
