Dalton Carter Dalton Carter 6'0" | 180 lbs | WR East Jessamine | 2023 State KY had an amazing senior season as he recorded 76 receptions for 1,252 receiving yards & 9 receiving touchdowns in 11 games played. Dalton’s main talented attribute is his tenacious running ability, especially when gaining yards after the catch. Since Dalton also was a running back option on the West Jessamine offense, his running mechanics transitioned into his receiver play which enabled him to find gaps in the defense after a reception. Most of Dalton’s “big-yardage” plays came from short passes where Dalton can use his vision and IQ to find the weak spot in the defense and exploit them. But what helps Dalton continue making big plays is his speed & quick acceleration as he can get to full sprint only a second after he catches the football, only for his speed to take him the rest of the way into the endzone. Lastly, Dalton is great at improvising his positioning when it is impossible to make a play off his initial route. When his QB is in trouble, Carter always knows where to go to find a spot that is easiest for his QB to throw to him to keep the play alive. As of now, Dalton Carter Dalton Carter 6'0" | 180 lbs | WR East Jessamine | 2023 State KY has received a few collegiate offers, and I expect him to decide on his football future soon.

Another senior receiver that stood out to me this season is Dalton Carter Dalton Carter 6'0" | 180 lbs | WR East Jessamine | 2023 State KY from West Jessamine. Carter was the go-to receiver for the Colts this year, finishing the regular season with 70 receptions for 1,144 yards and nine touchdowns. He has incredible deep speed, running right by defensive backs to create separation. Carter is also a very impressive route runner out of the slot, using his quick release to create early separation. He has also shown the ability to use his speed and elusiveness after the catch to turn short passes into big gains. Dalton doesn’t currently hold any offers but has received some college interest and has the talent to play somewhere at the next level.

Another great pass catcher that has stood out to me this season is senior wide receiver Dalton Carter Dalton Carter 6'0" | 180 lbs | WR East Jessamine | 2023 State KY from West Jessamine. Carter has been Jones’ go-to target in the Colts’ offense as he is second in the state in receiving through eight games with 60 catches for 1,091 yards and nine touchdowns. He is a tremendous route runner out of the slot, using his quick feet to create early separation from defensive backs. Carter also has the speed to pose as a dangerous threat in the deep passing game. In the short passing game, Carter is very dangerous after the catch, using his speed and elusiveness to turn those short passes into big gains. While Carter doesn’t currently hold any offers, he has received a solid amount of college interest and is definitely deserving of an opportunity to play at the next level as he is a very talented wide receiver.
