Cooper Lauersen Cooper Lauersen 6'5" | 305 lbs | OL Conwell-Egan | 2024 State PA played left tackle for Conwell-Egan last year. He shows good strength at the point of attack when he is blocking. He is a good athlete and does a nice job using that to block edge defenders. Lauersen also uses his athletic ability by pulling from his tackle position and blocking linebackers and defensive backs on run plays on the perimeter. He also does an excellent job of blocking down on defenders. Laursen recently picked up an offer From St. Francis University.

6’5, 290, 34″ arms, fantastic 4.23 GPA. 79′ wingspan.
Currently holds one offer from Stony Brook
Some of the best year-on-end growth from any lineman on our 2024 lists. The climb in ranking is indicative of that. Might be playing on a bit leaner build this coming Fall. Can serve as a massive wall at left tackle, impressive down-blocking capabilities outside working in. Nearing 300 pounds but can be relied on to get out of his stance and get wide to zone block outside the hash marks. Can emergency at guard if need be. Does a good job taking advantage of kids who either give up their chest or get too far upfield, he’s a good steerer once he gets the grip on someone. Some pass-pro sets on tape, looks comfortable for the most part. Looks more comfortable here than run-blocking at times, a testament to his lower body strength. Will likely see heavy D2/FCS attention so long as he puts forth good tape.

Love the development and growth Cooper Lauersen Cooper Lauersen 6'5" | 305 lbs | OL Conwell-Egan | 2024 State PA has displayed all off-season. That consistent work on his craft has the soon-to-be junior squarely on the radar of local FCS programs. Stony Brook University reached out to Cooper on May 30th with Coach Bache offering Lauersen a scholarship, acting as his first Division One offer. Very happy to see the 6’5 giant get noticed. Lauersen would be a steal for any PSAC program if he happens to land at that level. Yet we shouldn’t set the ceiling at FCS, who knows what what type of eyes this OL could impress this Off-Season?

Lauresen is another player we have in the 300s but don’t let that fool you. As with any prospect at this point will require patience but we have already seen a great bit of development in him since we first ranked him last year. Another player receiving FCS interest as well as some interest from FBS programs.
