Robert Davis | Prep Redzone Scout
Vicars walked away with the LB MVP for not only his play but for being coachable as well. It was an overall explosive group on Saturday and he was able to be one of the more explosive players on the day. I liked his work in indy drills as he was able to show his explosiveness and paired it with good footwork throughout the day. He was a player that is technical in coverage drills. He has good vision, was getting to his depth and closing quickly on receivers. He didn’t have many chances to show his strength but he was able to leave an impression with his athleticism. Will be a player to keep an eye on moving forward.

Vicars is a linebacker from Fossil Ridge who set himself apart from the rest of the position group during the drills and competition portion of the day. He has impressive athletic abilities and serious strength. His reflexes are particularly noteworthy, almost as if he can anticipate what is going to come next. He did a fantastic job displaying his lateral movements and ability to track the ball carrier and close the gap using his leverage. Vicars is a prospect worthy of being on the radars of programs at the next level, which is what helped him land the MVP award for the linebackers.
