Traverso is perhaps the top unsigned defensive player in the state of Idaho and has all the tools for the safety position at the next level. He has great range, elite tackling abilities, closing speed and is a very high IQ player the flows to the ball and has natural ball skills. He shows he can cover downfield, displays fluid hips in transition with change of direction and short area twitch when recovering or breaking to the ball. He can bait quarterbacks into poor throws over the middle before breaking, and is not afraid to come in the box and take on bigger blockers, set the edge and get in the mix in the run game.
