Wolthuis checks into our rankings as one of the best at his position in the class and is one of the more complete receivers across the western region. He had a terrific off-season heading into his senior year and exploded onto the scene in his final season and has signed with Idaho already during the early signing period. He is a smooth route runner with the ideal size and length for the Big Sky and can create separation downfield with terrific natural hands/tracking skills and can go up and win on contested catches. After the catch he is tough to take down, a very strong runner that can break open field tackles and should make a impact early in the FCS ranks.

Wolthuis is one of the top receivers across the state in the rising Senior class and is explosive off the ball and twitchy in his routes after the catch. He shows natural hands and can win on contested catches and has the ideal build for the position at the next level. He shows he can play both in the slot on the outside and is a precise route runner with downfield speed and the ability to make defenders miss an open space/displays big play abilities. He is seemingly comfortable running both in-breaking out-breaking routes and can get over the top of safeties and into blind spots before breaking off. Although not currently holding any offers, he should draw plenty of NAIA/D2+ interest through his Senior year.
