fashion, by winning the Offensive MVP for the Tennessee Future Stars. Though the Volunteer State came up on the losing end, Scraggs’ effort was unquestioned on every play he was on the field. He chipped away with short runs here and there, before finally breaking through just seconds into the fourth quarter with a touchdown run, to make the score 23-12–where it would eventually end.

One of only two returners at the Running Back position a year ago, Scraggs has put together a tremendous pre-high school career at CAK. Highlighted by wins, championships, MVPs and Future Stars Team selections, he’s certainly one of the more decorated athletes on the team. Up to 5-foot-7, 155-pounds and running a 4.78 in the forty, look for him to be the leader of this group.

Scraggs is a smooth, loose athlete with very good speed, he is a weapon in space. The only Tennessee prospect to earn a 2nd Team All-Camp honor, Scraggs is a compact runner, throughout his drills he displayed a blend of balance, agility and instincts. Verified at 5-foot-6 and 144-pounds, he showed off speed and agility all camp long. Was clocked a 4.82 in the forty (hand time) and a 4.69 in the Shuttle. As a pass catcher, he showed that he has the confidence and ability to catch the ball effortlessly. It’s not completely out of the question to wonder about some opportunities in the slot, after watching him go.

After a standout performance this summer for the Tennessee Future Stars, which netted him a selection to the Class of 2027 Game Top Performers, Scraggs has showed no signs of slowing down. In fact, he’s been the catalyst for a Christian Academy of Knoxville (CAK) squad that currently sits 5-0. Scraggs is an impressive back that plays with a similar style to Carolina Panthers stud, Christian McCaffrey. He’s a gasher who only needs a small hole to explode through to make the defense pay. He is also a threat out of the backfield as a receiver, too. On top of that, CAK runs a lot of RPO which makes the defense account for Scraggs on every play. With verified, electronic 4.78 speed in the forty, he’s a long day at the office for opposing Defensive Coordinator’s.
