Markise Witt Jr. Markise Witt Jr. 5'8" | 160 lbs | ATH Knoxville Catholic | 2029 TN was arguably the most versatile skill guy on the team last year and he’ll bring that ability to Knoxville Catholic for high school. He could easily fit in the ATH category with what he can do as a Running Back and Wide Receiver, but by several accounts he’s blazing his path as a Safety. After all, defense is in his blood, as he’s the younger brother of Kentucky Linebacker Steven Soles Jr.

Coming to the second practice of the day literally just hours after helping Bearden win a MAC Conference Championship, Markise Witt Jr. Markise Witt Jr. 5'8" | 160 lbs | ATH Knoxville Catholic | 2029 TN showed me exactly what I already know: pound for pound, he’s one of the most special ATH’s in the state of Tennessee for the class of 2029. Obviously a popular kid amongst coaches and teammates alike as well, his future is insanely bright on the gridiron. At practice, he took most of his reps as a Safety but also got plenty of burn as a Wide Receiver as well. That’s on top proven ability as a Running Back. The younger brother of current University of Kentucky Linebacker Steven Soles Jr., Witt Jr. looks every bit on the same P4 trajectory as big bro was/is.

Out of Knox County we have a pure dog in athletic gear named Markise Witt Jr. Markise Witt Jr. 5'8" | 160 lbs | ATH Knoxville Catholic | 2029 TN . He can do it all people, literally. Some would say he is the best athlete in his class and state. I would not argue that point. Markise has raw mechanics with big state ability. Great hips, speed, can redirect, and is strong. So far has played WR, DB, RB, and can return ball is needed. Very coachable and a high ceiling.
