My first in-person scout of Kurtz happened during Week 5 of the 2025 season when the Little Hawks played host to Norwalk. He was splitting time at quarterback and flashed plenty of potential at the position. It was a developing passing game and a threat to inflict damage to the opponent with his legs. Kurtz completed 11 of 15 throws for 99 yards and a touchdown against an interception. He rushed for 49 yards and a score. The TD run highlighted his speed, quickness and strength. Only midway through his second prep season, Kurtz has time on his side. It’s worth seeing where he can take his quarterback play while also knowing his athleticism leaves doors open for other positions.
