About Clayton

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am very competitive, fast pace. I use my strength and body control to put me above others. I take pride in my precise route running. I also use my great hands to catch any ball my QB throws to me, whether it be good or bad.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My freshman year we went 0-10 and that was a major set back, but mentality was huge to bounce back from that. I have a "do anything to win" mentality, "do anything to beat the guy in front of me" mentality and a "do anything to prove everyone wrong" mentality.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am not in any clubs but I did receive scholar athlete my freshman year by playing 3 sports and having a high GPA.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have always been a leader since I was very young, and I love working with others in teamwork activities if I have to.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, my dad was a strength training coach at my high school (Dalton High School) for 23 years. I grew up on those sidelines from being a coaches' kid and water/ball boy. Our new head coach brought in a new strength coach to replace him. I looked forward to sharing those sidelines with him as a player and he did nothing wrong. I had a hard time not taking it personal or being emotional about it.

What type of college are you looking for?

D1, D2, D3, NAIA- whatever college shows the most interest and I'll do anything it takes to get me to the next level, I don't care where. Ultimately, I'm looking for a place where I can contribute, develop, and be part of a competitive program with a strong academic support community.
