About Christian

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I focus on getting open by reading the defense and running the right routes. I use my speed to outrun defenders and my hands to make tough catches, even when there’s a lot of pressure. I also block for my teammates on running plays and fight through defenders to gain extra yards after the catch. Confidence and quick thinking are key for me to perform well and make big plays when it counts.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I give my best every time I step on the field. I know that every practice, and every play is important, so I stay focused and push myself to improve. I never back down from a challenge. I trust my skills, stay calm under pressure, and always give my all no matter the score. I play for my teammates, my school, and myself, knowing that hard work & strong determination will get me where I want to be.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am currently a member of the following programs: Germantown Football Leadership Program (players are chosen as leaders by the coaches, and meet regularly all school year). The program helps players develop communication, responsibility, teamwork, and resilience. It teaches them how to lead by example, motivate teammates, and stay positive in tough situations. What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

In my leadership group, and on my team we have learned a lot of good skills. But the one that has been the most impactful is to focus on giving Effort, Attitude, and Aggressiveness. Plus always Work harder, Work together and Never Surrender. That is mantra that I try to live by now and will in the future.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

During my junior year, I had an injury that kept me out for a few games. Knowing my team was counting on me, I focused on recovery and coming back stronger. Even though I couldn’t be on the field, I stayed involved by helping the receiver group with plays and offering support. I knew my responsibility didn’t end just because I wasn’t playing. I had to contribute in any way I could to help the team

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college that feels like the right fit for both my academics and football. I want a place where I can grow on and off the field—somewhere with a strong football program but also solid academics that will set me up for the future. I'm interested in a school with great coaches who will push me to improve and teammates who are like family.

One of my favorite athletes to watch in this Class is the Germantown WR. He had a ton of strong reps once we started slinging the ball around. The 6’2″ 190 lbs athlete was giving DBs fits with his route running. Even with his big frame, Christian was consistently getting open with ability to start/stop, get in and out of breaks, and also set up a DB with stutter steps and head fakes. The big target also does well coming to the ball and snagging it out of the air with strong hands, leaving very little room for a DB to make a play on the football. Christian did a great job of showing that he can win with power or his athleticism/route running. It was a great day for the Germantown standout.
