Germantown has an impressive stable of current and up and coming LB talent. One of those up and coming athletes is freshman Connor Meyers Connor Meyers 5'10" | 175 lbs | LB/WR Germantown | 2028 State WI . The ’28 needs time to grow and fill out his frame, but the freshman was not afraid to come out and compete with the older athletes. Connor is a natural athlete who did well at the showcase because he is comfortable in coverage and out in space in general. He proved he could close quickly, get his hands on the ball to knock it away, and did a good job transitioning from a backpedal to attacking downhill towards the ball. It was great having the freshman at the showcase early in his career. I’m looking forward to watching him grow and develop over the coming years.

Connor debuted in the Watch List as an LB, but it looks like the 2028 has switched it WR for Germantown. He didn’t waste any time making highlight reel worthy plays right away in Week 1 either. Connor is proving to be a deep threat with speed to stack corners and track down the ball on those deep shots. He has developed strong hand-eye coordination to make those over the shoulder catches at full speed. Plus the concentration to make the grab in traffic is showing signs of strong early development. The 2028 also possesses some noteworthy lateral agility and wiggle with the ball in his hands. Big things ahead for the Germantown playmaker.

Equally agile and explosive. Plays Defensive End/Edge/Outside Linebacker on the other side of the ball and brings the requisite physicality.
