Bennett was a big winner of the month of June camps. His combination of 1v1 reps and combine testing numbers told us that the Germantown DB is going to be someone to watch closely. The 2028 was right at home competing with older athletes this summer following a sophomore season on varsity for a very talented Germantown team. On the field, Bennett showed an explosive closing burst, quick feet and hips with the ability to transition quickly out of his backpedal. The ’28 also did well using his hands to redirect receivers. No doubt, Bennett proved to be a DB to know in the Class of 2028 and earned a bump in our upcoming rankings update.

Germantown 2028 DB Bennett Coulter Bennett Coulter 5'10" | 150 lbs | DB/RB Germantown | 2028 State WI had an eye-opening start to the day at the Lake Show Mega Camp on Sunday. He ran a 4.57 40, 4.19 shuttle, 9’2″ broad jump, 37.7″ vertical, and a lightning quick 6.67 L-Drill. Most of these numbers were among the very best of the day among the 400+ athletes in attendance. On the field you see those testing numbers shine. Bennett is so twitchy while playing out on an island vs a WR. His feet and hips give him the ability to stay glued to the hip of his WR and he has the timing and ball skills to be able to perfectly time and contest the catch to breakup passes. The ’28 DB is coming off All Conference HM honors in 2025. Big things ahead for the incoming junior.

What a day for the freshman DB out of Germantown. First off, the combine performance was strong. Numbers like a 4.75 40, 4.46 shuttle, 7.12 L-Drill, and 8’8″ broad jump laid the base for a really good day. Bennett is a natural at DB. His backpedal is smooth, but quickly gets him depth off the snap. It looks effortless for him to transition out of his backpedal to close on the ball. The freshman has the loose hips to be able to also turn and run downfield without losing speed. He also did really well playing the ball in the air, collecting both PBUs and an INT or two. It was a great day for the freshman DB. This is an athlete I will be following.
